It is designed especially for rubber-backed mats and for large, heavy carpets, which take a lot of time and effort to handle and wash without a machine. It is a production machine for a laundry, not a domestic carpet cleaner. How the industrial carpet washing machine works The machine works on the flow-through principle. The carpet is fed in and passes through the treatment stages in one continuous run. Brushing and high-pressure washing. Brushes loosen the dirt in the carpet and targeted high-pressure jets wash it away. The combination reliably removes stubborn stains, even from demanding materials. Rinsing. After washing, the carpet is rinsed so that the loosened dirt does not stay in it. Water removal. Water is removed from the carpet before it leaves the machine, so it comes out ready for drying. Cold water washing saves energy and material The machine washes with cold water. Because the wash water is not heated, no energy goes into heating, and cold water is gentler on carpet materials than a hot wash. The cleaning power comes from the mechanical action of the brushes and the high-pressure jets. Sized to your carpet widths and capacity There is no single standard capacity, because every machine is sized for its site. Sizing starts from the width of the carpets you wash and the volume the machine has to handle. When you request a quote, tell us the sizes and materials of your carpets and roughly how many you wash per day or per shift. Construction, controls and connections The machine is built for continuous operation in demanding washing environments. It is controlled by Siemens TIA Portal S7 logic, and the clear control panel makes operation quick and error-free. The electrical connection is 400 V / 32 A. From sizing to commissioning Delivery starts with the starting data: the carpets you wash, your volumes and the space available. The machine is sized and fitted to your laundry on that basis. Installation is timed to keep your downtime short, the machine is test run with your own carpets, and your operators are trained before handover. Carpet washing machine FAQ Does the machine wash with hot or cold water? Cold. Washing with cold water reduces energy consumption and is gentler on carpet materials. What kinds of carpets and rugs is it suitable for? It is designed especially for rubber-backed mats and for large, heavy carpets. If you want to wash other types of rugs, send us their material and dimensions and we will assess whether the machine suits them. Does the machine dry the carpets? The machine removes water from the carpet after washing and rinsing, and the carpet leaves the machine ready for drying. Drying is done as a separate step. What is the capacity? Capacity depends on the carpet widths and the washing volume, and the machine is sized to them. The capacity is therefore defined at the quotation stage.
