The Crate Feeder feeds crates onto the conveyor in a controlled manner, optionally combined with trash removal. Steady feeding prevents jams and ensures a consistent production rate at the head of the washing line.
The feeder is based on pneumatic operation and controlled by a PLC system. The feeding rate is adjustable to match the capacity of the production line, and combining trash removal in the same unit saves space. The frame is built from stainless steel and the unit meets food industry hygiene requirements. The unit connects seamlessly to Pohjaranta conveyor and washing line solutions at the head of the washing line.
